What is the purpose of a CMS system?

CMS system (abbreviation of the English Content Management System) is tool for easy content management on websites. Helps users insert, edit and delete text, images or pages without programming. It is mainly used for creation of websites, blogs or e-shops. Well-known CMS include WordPress, Joomla or Drupal. It is also sometimes referred to as editorial system.
